The collection "Fägring" is my fifth wallpaper collection together with Midbec Wallpapers.
"Fägring is a collection about life in all its splendor and transience; about ups and downs, sprouting and maturing. Man as the seed and as the fruit on the apple tree that endures through the last autumn storm.
The Fägring collection carries a poetic interpretation of life with flowers and vegetation as language and mediators.

The pattern Groh is filled with seeds and flowers that together makes up a whole meadow. In creating the pattern every flower symbolizes someone from Linas own family. The traditional family tree becomes a meadow instead; variegated, individualized, but at the same time connected.

In the Turi pattern we’ll find the jasmin and currant bushes, in the stillness of night. Peace and quiet. Turi is a pattern in a sober palette that plays peacefully in the background, but at the same time offers a pattern filled with life and movement. Brittsommar was released for the first time in 2020 and returns with five new color settings in this collection. The inspiration for the pattern comes from old decorated plates that Lina has collected through the years. Brittsommar is a playful pattern that reminds one of the colorful and vibrant late summers in Sweden.

In my designs you often find the familiar flora and organic forms – but with a twist. Relating to an inner image of a certain flower or vegetation creates one’s own interpretation of it. In this way, my designs are often in a borderland between fantasy and reality – but still always close to my self and with a personal approach.
